Troubleshooting

If an error occurs in the device, an alarm will be displayed as a pop-up on the touch panel.
There are two levels of alarms: "Error", and "Warning".

Alarm icon Warning Alarm level description
Error Immediate stop.
Resolve the cause of the alarm and prepare the device to resume operation.
Cooking will be stopped when the device stops. Cooking cannot be resumed. Empty the contents of the pot.
Description Normal operations (cooking, cleaning, and related functions) cannot be performed until the cause of the alarm is resolved. If cooking was in progress, you can resume cooking by touching [OK] on the alarm pop-up after resolving the cause.

How to Handle Alarm Level "Error"

  1. Check the details of the alarm with displayed.

    Refer to the Alarm List (user-resolvable items) and take appropriate action.

  2. Once the action is complete, touch [OK].

    If [Contact TM support.] is displayed, immediately stop this device and contact the TechMagic customer service center.

How to Handle Alarm Level "Warning"

  1. Check the warning code and content of the alarm with displayed.

    Refer to the Alarm List (user-resolvable items) and take appropriate action.

  2. Once the action is complete, touch [OK] to resume operating the device.

0001 Emergency Stop Is the emergency stop switch pressed? Check that nothing is interfering with the operation of the device. Wait for at least 10 seconds, then release the emergency stop using the emergency stop switch, recover from the error, and start up the device.

4002 Abnormal Heating of Pot The pot temperature has reached an abnormally high level that is not normally reached during the cooking process. Wait for some time or clean the unit before cooking again.
4005 Arm Handle Operation Detected During Pot and/or Spatula Operation
  1. The pot has moved out of the heating position during the cooking process.
  2. The pot has moved out of the washing position during the cleaning process.
  1. Move the pot back to the cooking position and try again.
  2. Return the pot to the washing position and try again.
4011 Temperature Limit Reached for Pot Motor Driver The motor that rotates the pot has overheated and was stopped for safety reasons. Leave the unit for about 30 minutes to allow the driver to cool, then restart cooking.
4017 Temperature Limit Reached for Spatula Motor Driver The motor that rotates the spatula has overheated and was stopped for safety reasons. Leave the unit for about 30 minutes to allow the driver to cool, then restart cooking.
4024 Pot Temperature Reading Abnormality The pot temperature sensor cover is dirty.
Alternatively, ingredient addition is detected during oil heating.
Check the operation while the oil is heated.
If the pot temperature sensor cover is dirty, follow the guide instructions to clean it in Cleaning mode.

3007 Rinse Tank Overheating Looseness of each connector on the temperature controller, SSR malfunction, contact welding. Please contact the TechMagic customer service center.
3008 Rinse Tank Thermostat Disconnection Contact of the temperature controller sensor connector, disconnection of the sensor. Please contact the TechMagic customer service center.
