Cleaning the IH Heating Unit

1. Turn off the power breaker.

   Always turn off the device before starting cleaning work.

2. Turn the two black screws at the bottom of the IH heating unit to remove the cover.

   

3. Remove the oil drain tray inside the IH heating unit and clean it.

   

4. After confirming that the spatula is on the top side, open the sink shutter and slowly move the pot by the handle to the washing position.

   

5. Wipe the top plate using a soft, clean cloth.

   

Replacing and Cleaning the IH Grease Filter

Turn off the power before replacing the honeycomb filter.
Contact with the fan may cause injury.

NOTICE

• Replace or clean the grease filter regularly.
  If it is not replaced or cleaned regularly, malfunctions may occur.
• Estimated replacement/cleaning frequency: Once a month

How to Remove the IH Grease Filter

1. Turn off the power breaker.

2. To remove the IH box door, turn the screws on the IH box door.

   

3. To remove the oil drain tray, pull out the oil drain tray.

   

4. To remove the grease filter, pull out the honeycomb filter and the malt filter.

   

Wear protective gloves when removing the honeycomb filter.
The edges of the honeycomb filter are sharp and may result in injury to hands and fingers.

How to Clean the Honeycomb Filter and Oil Drain Tray

1. Soak the honeycomb filter in lukewarm water containing a mild detergent to loosen any food residue.

   After food residue has been removed, rinse thoroughly under running water.

2. After rinsing, dry it thoroughly.

3. Wash the oil drain tray using a sponge soaked with mild detergent.

   The oil drain tray can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.

4. After rinsing thoroughly, wipe off any moisture using a clean, soft cloth, then dry it.

How to Install the Grease Filter

NOTICE

• The malt filter may become deformed when being cleaned, so always replace it with a new one.
• Be sure to install the filter correctly.
  Failure to do so may cause malfunctions.

1. Place the new malt filter on top of the honeycomb filter and insert it firmly all the way.

   

2. Return the washed grease tray.

3. Reinstall the IH box door and tighten the screws to secure it.
