Cleaning the Pot

Follow the instructions in Cleaning mode to clean the pot.

Prohibited
  • When tilting the pot, do not place your hands on the washing sink. Otherwise, you may get your hands caught and be injured.
  • Do not touch hot parts such as the pot or washing sink during the washing operation. There is a risk of burns.
  1. Open the sink shutter.

  2. Hold the handle and slowly move the pot to the washing position.

  3. Touch [Start].

  4. When rinsing is finished, touch [Stop].

Spatula Wipedown

Follow the instructions in Cleaning mode to wipe the spatula.

  1. Turn [Spatula Brake] to [OFF].

    Touch the OFF/ON button to change to [OFF].

Tips
  • By turning [Spatula Brake] to [OFF], you can rotate the spatula freely.
  • When this screen changes, for example, by touching [Back] with [Spatula Brake] turned OFF, [Spatula Brake] automatically turns [ON], and the spatula automatically moves to the cleaning position.

Pot Temperature Sensor

Follow the instructions in Cleaning mode to clean the pot temperature sensor.

  1. After removing the pot, wipe the pot temperature sensor using a soft, clean cloth.

  2. Attach the pot.

Pot Dry Run

You can rotate the pot when cleaning its inside.
Also, simultaneously using induction heating makes it easier to remove dirt.

Prohibited

When using induction heating, the pot will become very hot. Be careful not to burn yourself.

  1. Touch [Start].

    The pot starts rotating.

Tips

Turning [Heater] to [ON] starts induction heating. Turning it to [OFF] stops induction heating.
Touching [Stop] stops the rotation and heating of the pot.

How to Attach and Remove the Spatula

NOTICE
Instructions

When reattaching the spatula and plate (sealing) to the pot, be sure to insert the plate (sealing).
Failure to do so may cause malfunctions.

Prohibited
  • The spatula home position and pot rotation sensors use magnets.
    Do not place anything that could block the magnetic force between them.
  • If the spatula becomes deformed, its home position may not be detected.
    Be careful not to deform the spatula.
Prohibited

To prevent the spatula from becoming deformed when removing it, hold the base of the spatula, not the tip.

  1. Remove the spatula from the pot.

  2. Remove the plate.

Tips

When attaching the spatula, follow the removal procedure in reverse.

How to Clean the Spatula

Wash the spatula and plate once a day.

Prohibited

The base of the spatula has a strong magnetic force. Do not bring objects that may be attracted to magnets or electronic devices near it during the cleaning process. Leaving it unattended or cleaning it incorrectly may cause unexpected accidents or damage.
* Wash and store according to the specified method below.

  1. Wipe and wash the bottom of the removed spatula.

  2. After washing the bottom of the spatula, attach the spatula to the groove of the spatula cover.

    Align the flat bar with the groove in the rubber cover and insert it into place.

  3. Wash it by hand or in a dishwasher.

  4. Wash the plate in the same way by hand or using a dishwasher.

  5. After washing, remove the spatula cover and wipe both the cover and the plate thoroughly using a soft, clean cloth.

    After wiping off any water droplets, attach it to the pot.

How to Store the Spatula

  1. Attach the spatula cover to a clean spatula.

  2. Store the spatula with the cover attached.

When the Pot is Replaced

* Before using a new pot

Due to the nature of the pot’s coating, heat may not be readily transferred to ingredients during the first few uses.
After washing the inside of the pot using a neutral detergent, perform trial cooking two to three times before preparing food to serve.
